No millionares here

Hi... First of all i apologize for being dormant all these days ... now that im back... i promise you 1 post a week.
Euphoria sure is pouring down in this nation of ours.. We never seem to miss any oppotunity to be Euphoric. Rahman's 2 oscar haul sure got Indians on thier feet. isn' t Rahman the best composer in the country? Are'nt we the coolest nation in the world? Isn't Bollywood bloody wonderful? Doesnt our nation have this knack of drawimg foreigners? Sure it does. But someone is sure bieng left out.

The ambiguity that exists between the lifestyles of the prosperous middle classes and the "slumdogs" is appaling. The formers go on low calorie diet to get rid of those extra pounds. The latter starves to death. The former gets upset because some one got them Adidas sneakers instead of Nike. The latter trods day and night in those torn slippers some one threw at them. The former works thier heads off for that sleek n sexy 50 inch plasma telivision. The latter works thier heads off to afford thier dinner. The former saves to give his son a Harvard degree. The latter doen't know what Harvard is. The former is a victim of recession, the latter is a victim of intense depression, insecurity, drug trafficking and in some cases terrorism too.

You would imagine that a possible solution for this is donating your old clothes , money, food etc. However they ask for sound economic sense not favours . They ask for security not mere voluntary temporary funds. They require jobs, education, awareness, confidence. So A renasaince is imperative to get these forlorn "slumdogs" into mainstream Indian Life, to get them jobs in areas of higher technology instead of getting them to provide cheap labour. Our country desrves more than mediocrity, our country desrves to be known better than a country which provides "ten heads at the price of one". Maybe that's a task left to us to accomplish , maybe our country looks upon us to free hjer from the long withstanding problem of poverty, unemployment and ignorance, maybe our be our country looks upon us to spread in all parts of India the revolution of prosperity...
